This Giant Type Edition of the St. Joseph New Catholic Bible (NCB) is the first complete Bible in this fresh, faithful, and reader-friendly translation. With the needs of an aging population and those with limited vision in mind, the focus in this edition is placed on the text, which is arranged for easy reading. Rich explanatory notes are gathered at the end of each book to allow for full pages of the edition's highly readable 14 pt. type, the largest type of any Catholic Bible in a comparable size.
This edition, intended to be used by Catholics for daily prayer and meditation, as well as private devotion and group study, comes in a convenient 6-1/2" x 9-1/4" format, features gold page edging, and is durably and attractively bound in flexible gold-stamped tan Dura-Lux.

I received my Bible I ordered, as expected, it’s beautiful and I can read the text. I highly recommend this Bible to anyone who is looking for one !!
This is a very nice Bible, beautifully illustrated and is just as pictured. The type is very easy to read With no strain on the eyes at all. This is important, because eyestrain has previously limited my reading time. Even though my corrected vision is 20/20, the strain of looking at too small print for very long was very uncomfortable. This is my first chronological Bible as well, and I like that format very much because I don’t have to try to figure out the time line. In addition to all that, there is a web address to register it online for a lifetime guarantee. An excellent investment all around.
Being older , large text makes a big difference. The book is a bit heavier than my other Bible (smaller text), but nothing to deter me from reading it.
